What Happens If My Visa Is Rejected? Can I Reapply?

Visa / Knowledge Sharing

A visa rejection can be frustrating, but it doesn’t mean the end of your travel plans. In most cases, you can reapply after a specific waiting period, depending on the country.

Below are the standard waiting times before you can submit a new visa application:

  • 🇰🇷 South Korea – 6 months
  • 🇯🇵 Japan – 6 months
  • 🇨🇳 China – 1 month
  • 🇲🇾 Malaysia – Between 2 to 6 months
  • 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 3 months
  • 🇹🇼 Taiwan – 2 to 3 months
  • 🇮🇳 India – 24 hours
  • 🇺🇸 / 🇬🇧 United States / United Kingdom – 6 months
  • 🇪🇺 Schengen Area – 6 months

If your visa is rejected, we recommend waiting the required time, preparing your documents carefully, and reapplying with a stronger application. Star Zone Travels is here to support you through the reapplication process with expert guidance.
